Anyway, here are the remaining photos from the previous post about our HoopLa Saturday.
Here are the Prairie Point Pincushions we made, each showing our own different tastes. Lots of BBD fabric here, along with others.
Here are my unfinished pieces. I hope to get my stitched piece into the hoop lid this week.
Close up of my hoops (painted badly) and my pincushion. Love that Blueberry Crumbcake.
Well, that's all for now (be sure to look at the previous post, since I had to divide them up).
I hope everyone who hasn't finished continues on...these projects were really fun, especially the part of making them with others.
Have fun!!!

What a pretty idea those hoops at each other!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Debby
Your hoops do NOT look like they were painted badly! They look whitewashed -- that's a cool finish!
ReplyDeleteOf course I love your hoop box and pincushion projects--they're blue and white :) Beautiful work--I like the look of your painted hoops just he way they are!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Love these last two posts with all the gorgeous projects~~~ They all look outstanding!! Thanks for sharing them.....Love that blue and white for sure~~~ Faye
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool project and great idea for a get together!
ReplyDeleteI lvoe your blue and white box and cushion! They're so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThese are really darling!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI am SO loving this piece! I like how yours is white. It's quite a contrast from the warmth of the natural wood.
ReplyDeleteThou should not covet thy friend's pincushions. Thou should not covet thy friend's pincushions. I need to keep repeating that to myself. Oh. My. GOSH!!!!!!!! B-E-A-Utiful--all of them are. I just love that Blueberry Crumb Cake!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to work your hoop boxes together. I have just finished mine. I wanted to stitch mine so I could use 5" hoops so had to search for the perfect pattern to use. I chose Brenda Keyes' Grace & Virtue Sampler which I stitched with an HDF silk thread in blue. Please visit my blog to see the finished box - scroll down a bit! http://istitchaholic.blogspot.co.uk
